Twin Freaks is Paul McCartney's first remix album , it contains remixed songs. At the same time, including the Wings albums, the Fireman albums, the classic albums, the live albums and the compilation albums, it is Paul McCartney's 37th album after the Beatles split up . It was released in the UK on June 13, 2005 .

Emergence

During Paul McCartney's "Summer Tour", which took place from May 25th to June 26th, 2004, a 25-minute band with new remixes of Paul McCartney songs was played at the beginning of the concerts. The mixes came from Roy Kerr, whose specialty was to rhythmically combine different songs into a structure. Paul McCartney was so impressed with the mixes that he commissioned Roy Kerr to make twelve remixes, which are essentially so-called dance remixes. The finished product was released as a double vinyl long-playing record under the pseudonym Twin Freaks. There was no official CD release.

CDs were produced for promotional purposes, one containing the entire album and a promotional sampler CD containing the following five songs: Temporary Secretary / What's That You're Doing? / Mumbo / Darkroom / Live and Let Die . Due to the use of a pseudonym , similar to The Fireman, a larger audience was not aware that Twin Freaks was an album by Paul McCartney, so it was not commercially successful.
