background

History of origin

Vega (2012)

Shortly after the release of Vegas' debut album Lieber ich gut ich broke in November 2009, the Butterfly Music label , which was run by Vega and its former producer Emonex, was dissolved. The differences resulted according to an interview by the hip-hop - magazine Juice with rapper from various disagreements between him and Emonex what, above all, the artistic future Vegas would be affected. Emonex wanted to produce more poppy music in order to achieve better commercial results, while Vega wanted to continue as before. The recordings by Bosca and Face for their collaboration album Kinokarte: Film of a Life , which was published in early 2010 by Butterfly Music and in whose production Emonex played a key role, had become a point of contention. While Vega would have requested the recording of additional songs in order to have more choice for the actual album songs and thus improve the quality, Emonex requested the publication of every song produced because the recording costs money and studio time. As a result, Emonex Vega banned the public performance of songs that Emonex produced and took full usage rights for Butterfly Music .

After that, Vega said he was not ready to make music and first had to get back on his feet and get his life under control , although he originally planned to step up straight away and release an album in 2010. He also briefly toyed with the idea of stopping music completely. He discarded this, however, and instead built himself a new studio from a car garage with the financial support of an investor . There he quickly recorded the EP The Truth is ugly , which was offered for free download on September 30, 2010 as compensation for the long musical break and received positive feedback. Vega later said that at the time he should have been working on the album rather than releasing the EP, and The Truth Is Ugly set Vincent's production process back by almost a year. At that time he stated that he wanted to make the upcoming album more musical and, for example, have instruments played in or work with musicians outside of the hip-hop scene . He planned to publish it in spring 2011.

Then Vega built a new record label together with his manager Hadi El-Dor under the name Friends of Nobody . There he took Face and Olson Rough , already at Butterfly Music were, and Bosca, Migo and the producer Johnny Pepp under contract . He justified the re-establishment of his own label by saying that he wanted to offer people from his environment a platform and remain artistically independent.

After that, for private reasons, another few months passed before album production began. Another factor behind the delay was the beats, as Vega, who describes himself as very picky, is not ready to compromise on the background music for his raps. Over 600 beats were available for the album, of which 16 or 18 (Amazon edition) were ultimately used. There was also the option to send beats to Vega. However, none of these were used. The search for the right beats took some time. The release of the album was postponed to September 2011. In the meantime, Vega contributed to Chakuza's mixtape Search & Destroy II , Sunny Bizness' mixtape rap music , Twins album Dreckig, Eisern & loyal , Cutheta's album top notes , Bizzy Montana's mixtape A Touch of Poison , DJ Stickle's mixtape I know what you did last summer have heard , Boscas album Fighting Society and the samplers Hip Hop lives Vol. 1 and hip-hop lives Vol. 2 in. Music videos have also been released for the songs Zieh, zieh mit Bizzy Montana, No Time to Live and Hip-Hop & Rap (each with Sunny Bizness) as well as What do you know . Vega also improved the structures for its new label. Olson had left this at this time, instead the rapper Timeless was signed in August 2011. He published the free online EP Sonne for you to start with , on which Vega also appeared on the title song.

In August 2011 the album was postponed to January 2012 as Vega needed more time to produce. In an interview, he justified the postponement with the fact that he wanted to perfect the album after the long wait instead of finishing it hastily. A few days later, January 13, 2012 was announced as the release date. Simultaneously, concert footage circulated by the Friends of Nobody - Tour on which Vega, the outro played by Vincent. This was the first song from the album known to the public.

The pre-sale started on 18 November on the Internet - Sale House amazon.com . Shortly afterwards it became known that Vega could also sign the rapper Bizzy Montana , with whom he had already worked for his mixtape A Touch of Poison , with his label Friends of Nobody . This was previously contractually bound to Bushido's label ersguterjunge .

After the official album cover had been published a few days earlier , Vega also announced the album's track list on November 24th.

To promote the album, the internet retailer Amazon named the rapper artist of the week .

As a thank you for the good sales on the first day of sales, Vega released a remix of the title What do you know? , which was featured in the original version on the sampler Hip-Hop Lives Vol. 2 , for free download. Like the original, the remix was produced by the CuBeatz production team.

When recording the songs for Vincent , Vega had no particular structure in mind, just recorded the songs and then arranged them appropriately afterwards.

Vega described the album production as more complicated than with the debut album, as he had nothing to lose with it, but with the second album there was a certain pressure and different expectations. Especially with the award for Newcomer of the Year from HipHop.de (2009) and the 2nd place in the category of the same name at the JUICE Awards (2010), the expectations from outside and the own demands on the album were very high.

Album title

The album title Vincent is based on the film character Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino , who was played by actor John Travolta . In addition, the name itself radiates strength and is very memorable. Vincent comes from the Latin name Vincentius, which translated means the victorious or the victorious . Vega also referred to other rappers who also named their albums after their names and added Kollegah as an example , who titled one of his solo albums Kollegah . Vincent is Vega's first name.

Release date

The album was released on a Friday the 13th . In popular belief, this date is considered to be a bad day. Vega attributed this connection to coincidence and went on to say that he previously wanted to produce an album entitled Friday the 13th , but because of possible overlapping names with the album Friday the 13th by Joka (2009), it did not materialize. In addition, the date is very concise . However, there is no philosophy behind it. There is a song on the album called Friday the 13th . Already in 2010 published Freetrack What about you? the line of text “ It is Friday the 13th. When you come from the bottom, winning isn't everything, it's the only thing. "

With the release in a winter month , Vega explained that the music would better suit this time of year. Vega has so far dated all of his publications in winter.

Editions

The album appeared on the one hand as a CD in a super jewel case , but it was also available as a paid download from various online music services such as iTunes or Amazon . The digital album version of Amazon MP3 also contained two exclusive bonus tracks in addition to the 16 album songs. These are so-called remixes of the two titles Alles was Cay and So far away . The said songs were underlaid with new beats, while the lyrics remained identical.

illustration

The cover of Vincent shows a photo of Vega, which was taken in a forest and decorated in an autumnal style. Vega was photographed from behind so that Vegas' eyes are directed towards the sun. He wears brown pants and a black hoodie. The surface of the earth is covered with autumn leaves. The black lettering Vega and Vincent has been inserted in the center of the picture, with Vega to the right. Above is the Vega logo in white. Like the album artwork, the cover was designed by Robin Heller for Helles Design , who also shot all the photos.

The album cover was chosen in advance by outsiders via the Internet - voting exclusively via the online magazine rappers.in . Both the ultimately chosen cover and an alternative cover, also designed by Robin Heller, were available. This showed a picture of Vega, in which he holds a white ball in his hands and is very darkly designed. In the background, the branches of a tree can be seen against the night sky . Below Vega, on whose upper body the white writing Vega and Vincent has been added, there are two rocks and some autumn leaves. As with the other cover, the Vegas logo was shown in white, and the typography is identical. Overall, the alternative cover is designed much darker. The voting took place on November 14th and 15th, 2011 and was decided with 567 to 164 votes, which corresponds to 78 and 22 percent respectively. A total of 731 people took part in the vote.

Vega was very satisfied with the result and said he was surprised by the voting because he thought the darker version would be more popular. However, the first cover was also his favorite. Therefore, he was generally happy about the decision.

content

production

For the production of the album, mostly musicians were responsible, with whom Vega had previously worked. Most of it was produced by Johnny Pepp and Cristal, both of whom are signed to Vegas label Friends of Nobody .

Beatlefield and Sinch productions were also announced in advance, but ultimately they were not featured on the album.

The beat for Outro be needed shortly before the publication changed since Kool Savas for the beat of the song aura of its eponymous album Aura shortly before the same sample by German composer Hans Zimmer from the movie Inception used. Vega tried to contact Kool Savas, but failed. The original version, which was produced by Cristalbeats, was uploaded as an audio stream on the YouTube video platform in May 2012 .

According to Vega, the selection of the beats was mostly based on how well it would convey the mood of the lyrics. Compared to the first album Lieber ich gut ich broke , which partly has a character that I recorded in the basement, the selection of beats is more coherent, more from one piece and not as thrown together as on the debut album. Vega cited the shorter production time as the reason for this. He also paid more attention to the quality of the recordings .

Guest Posts

There were two guest posts on Vincent . These came from Vegas label mates Bosca and Timeless. Bosca was featured on the song With Your Head Through the Wall , Timeless supported Vega on the song Can you see? . None of the guests on Dear me stay broke were represented on Vincent .

Vega said in advance that he would like to work with Kool Savas , Chakuza , Casper and Azad for the album . He especially wanted a feature with Azad, as he was the most important person in German rap for Vega . In some texts and interviews in the past he also mentioned Azad positively. The collaboration failed because Vega did not meet Azad personally and the managers of the two artists could not agree on the framework. A guest contribution by Casper had been planned, but had not come about due to time problems, since Casper had been on the road a lot after the success of his album XOXO . A collaboration had already been planned for XOXO , but this did not take place due to lack of time. Kool Savas was featured on Lieber ich bin broke , Vega was featured on Savas' albums John Bello Story 2 and John Bello Story 3 . The song Musik on Cutheta's producer album Top Notes was also the result of a collaboration between Vega and Kool Savas. With Chakuza, Vega recorded the song In Direction All for his mixtape Search & Destroy II . All four collaborations failed. One Azad feature in particular would have been very important to him, so Vega was unhappy about the failure. On the other hand, it is a satisfaction for him that the album was successful even without big names.

style

Compared to the first album Lieber I Stay Broke , the music was wilder and more rebellious at the time, as he said he was fighting for acceptance in the hip-hop scene. He achieved this, and so his expectations and position within the scene changed before the second album. Vincent, on the other hand, is quieter, more musical, more adult and overall better than the first album, because Vega has changed completely humanly. Overall, however, Vincent goes in a stylistically similar direction to the previous releases and is very atmospheric, honest and rough . In addition, the album is the most personal record in Vegas, as many of the lyrics relate directly to experiences that happened during the album production period, such as the dissolution of Butterfly Music and the founding of Friends of Nobody . The constant ups and downs are also clearly reflected in the music. Vincent is such a mirror of the months before the album is released.

A permanent stylistic device is pathos , which is used even more often on Vincent than on earlier songs. Vega described its effect as huge , the lyrics are heartbreaking and tearfully expressed . This is even more pronounced with him than with other Frankfurt artists, where pathos is often used. In addition, many texts are spoken very figuratively. As an example, Vega cited the song Vollmond , in which the keywords black rain and full moon are used very often. According to Vega, the visual language makes it possible to create many more images with short sentences . The listener can also better imagine what is being said. Details would play an important role in this . The art is to be somewhat detailed, but still leave room for interpretation. So tell Vega his story, but leave enough space so that the listener can make his own story out of it. Vega described himself and Casper as the only rappers in Germany who use this stylistic device on the same level.

Often terms in the field of nature and fauna are used :

“Tell the people, I have swum across the seas , no tell them, I have climbed mountains and tell them, on the trail to the sun , I fought lions , won against bears , walked alone through the forests , heaven like that as close as the rocks of the Andes , go tell them I ran through storms "

- so close from heaven

There are short songs on each of the four elements fire , water , earth and air on the album . In it Vega tries to express the elements musically. So fire quite aggressive and made angry, the Beat also has similarities to the intro from the previous album I'd rather stay broke up, also the beginning of the text is identical. Water, on the other hand, is kept calm, prudent and self-reflective. In the title Air, Vega raps the line: I am weightless to show the connection to the element air. In addition, he sometimes raps at double speed ( doubletime ), which is intended to underline the weightlessness in the air.

The metaphor of the king is also used frequently on the album. Vega continues what was already mentioned on the title König ohne Krone von Vegas debut album Lieber ich gut ich broke , in which he calls himself the same. So he continues to portray himself as king without a crown in Heaven . In the same song he also mentions that he has been standing in front of the throne room drunk for two years .

The title I am king today is again an allusion to a king without a crown . In the song Vega also uses a special rhyme scheme , as he uses 16 rhymes in both strokes and thus creates a consistently similar sound. In terms of content, he describes his development in recent years. At the same time, he refers to criticism of himself and his environment. For example, he expresses his lack of understanding about the frequent comparison that his label colleague Bosca sounds like him. Often this is done through the phrase And they say . This is particularly concise in Everything that counts , where he also answers various points of criticism from outside.

Vega often falls back on older song texts on the album, which are used again in an identical or slightly different form.

In Can you seh'n? There is also an homage to the rapper Frustration: Call me Frustra, because I knew how to share . Frustration rapped the line I (...) knew how to share on his intro before Facebook existed .

The image of the five best rappers, which Vega has used repeatedly in the past, is also repeatedly taken up. In it, he mostly refers to five rappers who are not named . Sometimes only four rappers are used, which makes Vega complete the top 5.

According to Vega, the album does not contain any songs that can be stylistically assigned to battle rap . This hip-hop-typical form of rap is an attempt to verbally humiliate and insult an (often fictional) opponent. Often this is done using pointed lines, so-called punchlines . Vega justified the lack of such songs on the one hand with the fact that he wanted to convey feelings to the listener that would not arise in battle rap and that he wanted to make songs that touch people and go beyond entertainment. In addition, there are now “a whole bunch of people who are much better at playing with punchlines”. Nevertheless, some songs were released on Vincent that took a more aggressive approach. It was above all the Representen in the foreground. In this form, the rapper mostly focuses on himself and his environment in a positive way. Vincent is here or Friday the 13th are examples of these types of songs. In these, for example, he compares his voice with the sound of a circular saw or himself with the Arab singer Amr Diab .

The outro is very personal, with Vega referring to various events in his recent past, for example the death of a close friend or the departure of Olson from Vegas label Friends of Nobody . In this respect, according to Vega, the track represents a kind of review of his last two years . It resembles the style of Lieber gut ich broke , especially of the song Winter , most of all and represents Vega the way he sees himself and wants to present himself to the outside world. It is also arguably the most personal song of his career. The song ends with Tell Them Vincent Was There , which is a nod to the intro Vincent is there .

Musically, dark, atmospheric beats dominate the album. Vega described Vincent's background music as epic, orchestral and somewhat exaggerated .

marketing

Four music videos were released for the album . The first premiered on December 13, 2011, one month before the album for the song So far away, on HipHop.de . It was shot in the same forest where the cover shoot took place. It is stylistically very similar to the album illustration. According to Vega, the choice of So Far Away as the first harbinger for the album is based on the fact that he wanted to keep the album more natural and wanted to distance himself from the gloomy street image . The video single seems friendlier and more adult than older Vegas works.

A making-of was uploaded two days earlier, allowing a look behind the scenes of the video shoot. A short video was also released for the cover shoot in which you can see Robin Heller and Vega working on the album artwork.

The second video release was a split video for the two songs Ich bin König heute and Mit dem Kopf durch die Wand . Excerpts from both songs were shown in a video. Bosca and his guest post on Head through the wall do not appear in the video. The clip celebrated on 31 December 2011 on the Internet platform 16Bars Premiere .

Another video was broadcast as part of the online television format Shut Up , in which rappers present songs in unedited recordings, broadcast by Aggro TV for the song Alles was geht. The shooting took place in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain at the Frankfurter Tor underground station . The Berlin rapper Liquit Walker has a guest appearance in the clip.

The fourth video showed the song Can you see it? with Timeless. As part of the video shoot, Vega invited interested parties to Mannheim on January 10, 2012 in order to be able to take part in a mass scene. The video celebrated five days after album release on the official YouTube channel of Friends Nobody Premiere. Like So Far Away and I'm King Today / With my head through the wall by Robin Heller for Helles Design . A few days later, a making-of for the video was published, showing some insights into the video shoot.

At the end of November, a so-called snippet was published for the album, in which some songs from the album were played briefly to give the listener an impression of the LP. Two weeks later, 30-second audio samples of all the songs appeared on Amazon MP3. Shortly before, a teaser for the album was published, which alludes to the intro Vincent is there and shows some video recordings of Vega.

The two rappers PA Sports and KC Rebell from the Life is Pain label published a short video announcement for the album in advance, which was broadcast on the YouTube channel of Freunde von Nobody. Also Bizzy Montana and Bosca published such an announcement.

The complete promotion was done by Vegas label Freunde von Nobody , while Wolfpack Entertainment was responsible for the logistical tasks and Soulfood for the distribution .

reception

success

As part of the series of interviews Toxik meets ... on the website hiphop.de , Vega stated that he would like to get into the Top 30 of the German album charts and successful rappers like Casper , who for weeks at number one in the German album charts with his album XOXO and got a gold record for 100,000 album sales, or Nate57 wants to follow. However, the goal is to reach the top 100. In another interview, Vega said that every placement within the top 25 is a huge success .

The album Vincent was finally able to position itself at number 5 in the German album charts. This was Vegas' first and at the same time best chart position of his career. At the same time it was the first chart success for Vegas label Friends of Nobody . In the trend charts from the first Friday of sale, which only took into account the sales on Friday, Vega was even in second place behind Marsimoto's LP Grüner Velvet . Vega was very happy about the success and said that he did not expect such a high placement.

In the second week Vincent slipped to 79th place, after which it was no longer able to place in the top 100. In the Austrian album charts, the album reached number 28 in the first week.

The album sold over 20,000 times.

criticism

The online magazine MeinRap , which mainly revolves around hip-hop, summed up in a first impression that was shown a week before the album was released. It was stated that Vincent knows how to convince with Vegas' credibility and the atmospheric music. In addition, the lack of influences from current trends and the consistent continuation of Vegas style were positively highlighted.

The weekly magazine MusikWoche dedicated a cover page to Vega and also rated the album very positively in a preview . So be Vincent amazingly versatile and urgently. He also succeeds in transporting emotions perfectly. Can you see it and be a friend were highlighted as examples .

Oliver Marquart, editor-in-chief of the online platform rap.de , rated the album using a rating system that was similar to an analog thermometer . This reflected in the red, positive area. In the review, Vegas' talent for linguistic images was particularly praised, which are simple, but in combination with the beats create “a coherent overall picture and always goose bumps”. The beats are brutal , pathetic synth beats on which he performs his “angry, expressive raps”. Despite the lack of specific, narrated stories, the album tells a story overall, although it is not a concept album in the original sense. With Vincent , Vega created his own genre, which Marquart called "Pathos-Rap". His texts create “a world of their own in the mind of the listener, in which one likes to visit every now and then, also because compared to the real world it is manageable and comprehensible”, but above all it would never be there get boring.

Dani Fromm from the e-zine laut.de rated the album with three out of five stars. Vegas in particular “feel for the bold, plastic” was highlighted as a positive factor. He manages to create impressive images in the mind of the listener. These would be well supported by the "bombastic, hard-to-beat in theatricality" beats. The subject of "We-versus-the-rest-of-the-world" is negative. Even “shockingly stupid gay and misogynistic” slip-ups would cloud the overall picture. Examples of this were the text passages "I've seen German rappers kissing men", "I can't be down with men who give their asses" and "Would like to be part of your community, but I don't talk to women" called.

The Event - Community Diginights forgave Vincent perfect score of five. The main reasons given were the emotional texts packed with coming to terms with the past, the coherent sound and the powerful voice . Every single title is very dynamic . Vega has also been described as an authentic rapper whose every word is believed. The four-element theme with the skits earth , fire , water and air as well as the love song Nur you were singled out as particularly positive . Overall, Vincent was the first musical highlight in 2012.

Niklas Potthoff from the online magazine rappers.in rated the sound carrier with 5.5 out of 6 microphones . Vincent has become a very coherent and personal album, on which Vega makes music to empathize without losing its connection to the street. Overall, the album works as a complete unit and does not only consist of individual points of reference, since the "almost majestic" beats are more uniform. This makes it more coherent than the previous album Lieber I stay broke . Vega also succeeds through his voice and the pressure in it to appear very honest and authentic. It creates a coherent atmosphere, which was justified by the fact that it is often difficult to assign a certain topic to the titles, since "all the topics are represented on the individual allusion stations." The guest post by Timeless was described as solid, while Bosca fell sharply compared to Vega.

MeinRap wrote in a review that Vega “focused on his strengths, played them to the full and skillfully worked them out into a unique selling point” with the album. Self-confidence and self-pity would merge in a unique way in vague, pictorial texts, and the beats were very atmospheric. Nevertheless, two or three songs with outbursts from lyrical monotony were desirable. In addition, the pathos and the homophobic garments of individual text passages would polarize. Nevertheless, Vincent is overall an album "like a piece", in which the beats and raps go hand in hand.

The on Rap specialized website HipHopJam.net rated the album four out of five mics . Vega is strongest when he creates “pictures of picturesque worlds with his words”. This is the case in the title So Close to Heaven . Vincent's instrumentalization is brutal and majestic and dominated by the use of pianos and strings. This creates a gloomy "goose bumps" sound carpet. Vega rap on it with "hard, direct words and an aggressive voice". With the album Vincent shows that he is one of the "leaders of the new German rap generation". The partly homophobic statements were listed as a flaw.

The hip-hop magazine Backspin wrote in its online magazine that Vincent was an "outcry, a declaration of war on the world, a head-up flag that blows in the wind of the misunderstood". The overall mood is dreary, gloomy and almost melancholy. Vegas' rap technique was also honored, but the "voice that is always very strongly pressed over the beat" creates monotony . All in all, Vincent is the consistent further development of Lieber I remain broke , but not anymore. The album was awarded three out of five points.

Rap4Fame awarded the album four and a half of five crowns. Vegas raps are still "disarmingly honest" and the album tells of "hopelessness, pain and sadness, but also of perseverance and of being able to stand your ground despite numerous blows to the neck". So even very personal tracks would not degenerate into “emotional drudgery”, but were “simply and simply honest”. The elements set to music in ski form are another positive feature of Vincent . Bosca's guest post, on the other hand, falls slightly, while Timeless can convince across the board. All in all, Vincent is a very strong album with no real low points, on which Vega continues his path uncompromisingly and without bending. Only the beats are a bit monotonous due to the consistently dreary, gloomy background.

controversy

After the video for Ich bin König heute '/ With my head through the wall , the text passage “ I watched German rappers kiss men - do you see that too? I mean so disgusting that I pray they have a girl home, so my disgusting that I pray they have no penis in the stomach "due to a possible defamation of homosexuals criticized. The suspicion of homophobia also emerged . Vega commented on this criticism via Facebook and stated that the lines of text in question are not directed against homosexuals, but are visual comparisons that are supposed to show how rappers suddenly love each other, [...] that you have to ask yourself whether they couple are . In an interview he also said that he could not understand the discussion and referred to other rappers like Kool Savas , who had also used such visually spoken lines in the past. He also affirmed that he was not referring to homosexuals in the relevant passage, but rather played on collaborations among rappers in which the artists do not know each other personally, but only work together because of the good name of the collaboration partner. He meant these rappers by men who hold hands, rappers who kiss each other, men who give their asses . With the passage I can't be down with men who give their asses, he means people who change for money.

There were also discussions about the text The coolest pig in this world since Bill Cosby died from the title With your head through the wall . The American actor , singer , author and comedian is alive and well . However, in the past there were several newspaper ducks and Tatar reports about Cosby's death. Vega explained that he wanted to rekindle these rumors with the appropriate line . Although he actually thought that Cosby was dead when writing the line, the error was pointed out to him before publication and he decided not to change the text. Vega called Cosby one of the greatest entertainers of the past centuries .

Shortly after the album was released, there was a public dispute between Vega and his former label boss Separate , from whom Vega split in 2008 due to personal differences. The trigger was a statement by Vegas that he couldn't take separate items seriously.

"Separate went wrong (...). Or rather, it didn't run at all. I was relatively young, was there on the label and then you get to a point where someone turns into a blatant asshole. That's actually all it was about. Somehow he was flying high, I don't know what, because it wasn't as if he would have become the star. He just got weird, unfriendly, didn't treat the people around him the way you do with friends. But always a bit like idiots and idiots and errand boys. He just filled his sacks himself and shit on the rest. But he was someone who actually had a very loyal environment (...). Sometimes he had me on Facebook, but he only got half as many likes as my manager. I can't take that seriously. "

- Vega

He responded with a statement on the online community Facebook , in which he accused Vega of lying and claimed that he had made Vega aware of the names Vincent and Vega . He described Vegas statements as sad .

Live performances

For the album, the tour found Vincent is here! instead, which took place in March 2012 and whose name is based on the album intro of the same name. Vega was accompanied by his label colleagues Bizzy Montana , Timeless and Bosca. During the tour they performed from March 15 to 26 in Nuremberg , Munich , Hanover , Münster , Cologne , Freiburg im Breisgau , Stuttgart , Weinheim and Berlin . A trailer for the tour was released in February, showing some excerpts from a Vegas concert.

To mark the release of Vincent , an official release party took place on February 19, 2012 in the Batschkapp venue in Frankfurt am Main . Vega was supported by Liquit Walker and Bosca, while Bizzy Montana and Timeless also appeared as special guests . The event was presented by MeinRap , rappers.in , hiphop.de , M8-Rapblog , Wolfpack Entertainment , Friends of Nobody and the Soulfood distributor . Since this release party was sold out quickly, an additional show was carried out in the Frankfurt Club Nightlife on the following day, February 20, 2012 . The line-up was identical to that of the previous evening.

On Veröffentlichstag, January 13, 2012 took place in the Saturn - branch in the Europa Center in Berlin a short concert and a subsequent autograph session instead. The event was free.

Another appearance took place on December 17, 2011 in Büdingen . Vega presented tracks from his album Vincent a month before the release date .
