WGA Laurel Award
The Laurel Awards of the Writers Guild of America, West each year as part of the presentation of the WGA Awards awarded for life work of screenwriters. Since 1953 there has been the Screen Laurel Award (Laurel Award for Screenwriting Achievement) for feature film writers, and since 1976 there has also been the TV Laurel Award (Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Writing Achievement) for television scriptwriters, named after three-time Oscar winner Paddy Chayefsky .
