Wilson Fittipaldi (* 25. December 1943 in São Paulo , Brazil ) is a former Formula 1 - racing driver and team owner.

Career

He was registered for 38 Grand Prix races and was able to qualify for 35 starts. He drove 23 Formula 1 races for Brabham . A further twelve race was it for, together with his younger brother, Emerson Fittipaldi , founded Fittipaldi active team.

Wilson Fittipaldi achieved a total of three world championship points in races in the 1973 season by finishing 6th at the Argentine Grand Prix and 5th at the German Grand Prix .

From the 1975 season he concentrated on leading the Fittipaldi team, which participated in Formula 1 races until the 1982 season.

He and his wife Suzy have two children: a daughter named Roberta and the now active racing driver Christian Fittipaldi .
