Berzovia is a commune in Caraş-Severin County, western Romania with a population of 4,165 people which includes Berzovia, Fizeş and Gherteniş villages.

The name is related to the only one fragments that survived from emperor Trajan’s Dacia “we proceed to Berzobis and then to Aizizis” See also Castrul roman Bersobis [2]
