The 2nd league in 1957 was the ninth season of the second highest Polish men's soccer division. The game was played from March to November 1957.

mode

The 24 teams were divided into two groups of 12 clubs each. Each team played twice against each other on a total of 22 match days, divided into a round trip. The two group winners rose to the first division . The last two teams in each group were relegated to the 3rd division .
