Alija Fargatovna Mustafina ( Russian Алия Фаргатовна Мустафина ; born September 30, 1994 in Yegoryevsk ) is a Russian gymnast . Your hometown club is CSKA Moscow . Her father, former world class wrestler Farhat Mustafin , is her advisor.

At the 2010 World Championships in Rotterdam , she won the gold medal in the all-around event and gold in the team all-around event with the Russian national team. She won the silver medal on the jump, floor and uneven bars.

At the European Championships 2011 in Berlin , she suffered a knee injury in the all-around final and had to be eliminated from the competition.

Mustafina won four medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London - more than any other participant in the gymnastics competition. She became Olympic champion on the uneven bars, took silver with the team behind the Americans and won bronze in the all-around and on the ground.

At the World Gymnastics Championships 2013 in Antwerp , Mustafina won the balance beam final and took third place in the uneven bars final. In the all-around final she reached third place.

At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil, she won a gold medal on the uneven bars .

At the 2018 World Championships in Doha , she won a silver medal in the team all-around competition.
