The Swiss Autobahn 50 runs in the canton of Zurich. As a cantonal motorway, it does not require a vignette . The section of the motorway, also known as the Glattfelden bypass , leads from Rheinsfelden (municipality of Glattfelden) north around the town of Glattfelden . A connection with the cantonal Autobahn 51 as well as a possible continuation of the A 50 to the German Autobahn 98 is planned in the cantonal structure plan . The A 98 is a four-lane motorway from Lörrach to Geißlingen and is part of the German federal traffic route plan .
