Bahrainunā ( Arabic بحريننا Bahrainunā , DMG Baḥraynunā  'Our Bahrain') is the national anthem of Bahrain .

history

The national anthem was adopted on August 15, 1971 when the country gained independence from Great Britain . When Emir Hamad ibn Isa Al Khalifa declared himself king in 2002 , the original text was changed.

Dustūruhā ʿālī' l-makānati wa-l-maqām,
Mīṯāquhā nahǧu 'š-šarīʿati wa-l-ʿurūbati wa-l-qiyam,
ʿĀšat' l-Baḥrayu

Our Bahrain
Our King
A symbol of harmony
His constitution stands high and good position
Your statute is the way of Sharia, Arabism and values
