Majulah Singapura

Majulah Singapura ( Malay for Forward Singapore ) is the national anthem of Singapore . It was composed by Encik Zubir Said between 1956 and 1957 and has been the country's official anthem since Singapore gained independence in 1965 . Since English, Chinese and Tamil are also official languages ​​in addition to the Malay language, corresponding translations exist. However, only the original Malay text may be sung.
