Biały Dwór is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the rural community of Banie Mazurskie ( German Benkheim ) in the powiat Gołdapski ( Goldap district ).
Biały Dwór (the name means something like "White Court") is located on the north-eastern edge of the Skallische Forst (also: Altheider Forest, Polish Lasy Skaliskie ) in the northeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 20 kilometers west of the district town of Gołdap (Goldap) . It can be reached via an overland route that leads from Mieduniszki Wielkie (Groß Medunischken , 1938–1945 Großmedien) via Brożajcie (Broszaitschen , 1938–1945 Brosen) to Żabin (Klein Szabienen / Schabienen , 1938–1945 Kleinlautersee) .
It has not been proven whether the place was settled before 1945, nor is there an earlier German place name. Today Biały Dwór is part of the rural community Banie Mazurskie in the powiat Gołdapski , before 1998 the Suwałki Voivodeship , since then the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
Ecclesiastically the place belongs on the one hand to the parish Żabin in the deanery Gołdap in the diocese of Ełk (Lyck) of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland , on the other hand to the church in Gołdap , a branch church of Suwałki in the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
