Ziemianki ( German  Schönbund ) is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community Banie Mazurskie (Benkheim) in the powiat Gołdapski ( Goldap district ).

Geographical location

Ziemianki is located in the northeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . It is 13 kilometers to the northeast to the district town of Gołdap (Goldap ) and 26 kilometers to the west to the former district capital of Angerburg ( Polish : Węgorzewo ).

history

The place formerly called Schönbund , consisting of a few small courtyards, was founded before 1816. With its establishment, he became a living space within the community Sapallen (1938 to 1945 Ostau, Polish Sapałówka ), which until 1945 for District Surminnen ( Polish Surminy ) in the district Angerburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged.

Ziemianki can be reached easily via Surminy (Surminnen) on the voivodship road DW 650 (formerly German Reichsstraße 136 ), but from there a side road leads to Sapałówka (Sapallen , Ostau from 1938 to 1945 ) and further as a land route to Ziemianki. There is no rail connection.
