At the 37th Biathlon World Championships , only the non-Olympic mass start competitions over 15 km (men) and 12.5 km (women) were held due to the Olympic Winter Games held in the same year . These competitions were organized on March 24, 2002 as part of the Biathlon World Cup at Holmenkollen in Oslo ( Norway ).
