Borowa ( Ukrainian Борова ; Russian Боровая Borowaja ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 7,300 inhabitants (2017).

The settlement is located in Fastiv district on the border with Vasylkiv district . The Stuhna ( Ukrainian Стугна ), a tributary of the Dnepr , which is dammed up here to form small reservoirs, flows through the village . Borowa is located 21 km northeast of the Fastiv district center and 55 km southwest of the city center of Kiev and has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1938.
