Brad Richardson (born February 4, 1985 in Belleville , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Arizona Coyotes in the National Hockey League since July 2015 . With the Los Angeles Kings he won the Stanley Cup in the 2012 playoffs .
Career
Brad Richardson began his career as a hockey player with the Owen Sound Attack , for which he was active from 2001 to 2005 in the Ontario Hockey League . During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2003 in the fifth round as a total of 163 players from the Colorado Avalanche , for which he made his debut in the National Hockey League in the 2005/06 season . After three years in which the attacker each played for the Avalanche in the NHL, as well as for their farm teams from the American Hockey League - the Lowell Lock Monsters , Albany River Rats and Lake Erie Monsters - Richardson was on June 20, 2008 from Colorado in exchange for a second-round right to vote in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft to the Los Angeles Kings , for which he gave five assists in 31 games in the following season.
In July 2013, Richardson signed a two-year deal with the Vancouver Canucks . After this was not renewed, he joined the Arizona Coyotes in July 2015 .
