The 2004/05 OHL season was the 25th season of the Ontario Hockey League . The regular season began on September 14, 2004 and ended on March 20, 2005. The play-offs started on March 24, 2005 and ended with the London Knights winning the J. Ross Robertson Cup for the first time on May 14, 2005 who prevailed in the OHL final against the Ottawa 67’s .

During the regular season, the London Knights set a new Ontario Hockey League as well as a new Canadian Hockey League record with 31 games in a row without loss . The previous OHL record was held by the Kitchener Rangers since 1983/84 and was 26 games; the CHL record was set in 1978/79 by the Brandon Wheat Kings from the Western Hockey League and was 29 games.
