The 2006/07 OHL season was the 27th season of the Ontario Hockey League . The regular season began on September 21, 2006 and ended on March 18, 2007. The play-offs started on March 22, 2007 and ended with the Plymouth Whalers winning the J. Ross Robertson Cup for the first time on May 13, 2007 who prevailed against the Sudbury Wolves in the OHL final .
