The 1990/91 OHL season was the 11th season of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Oshawa Generals won the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as the team with the highest points of the regular season . In the playoff final, however, they were defeated by Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds , who secured their second J. Ross Robertson Cup .
Changes
The Detroit Compuware Ambassadors joined the OHL as a new franchise and increased the number of participants to 16 teams.
