The 1981/82 OHL season was the 2nd season of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Ottawa 67’s won the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as the team with the highest points in the regular season , but were defeated in the playoff final by the Kitchener Rangers , who thus secured their second J. Ross Robertson Cup .

Changes

The Belleville Bulls and the Cornwall Royals were accepted into the OHL and increased the number of teams to 14. At the same time, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and the Sudbury Wolves from the Leyden to the Emms Division , while the Toronto Marlboros took the opposite route.
