The 1989/90 OHL season was the 10th season of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Oshawa Generals won the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as the best point team of the regular season and prevailed in the subsequent playoff final against the Kitchener Rangers , so they won their eleventh J. Ross Robertson Cup .
Changes
The Toronto Marlboros became the Dukes of Hamilton and the Guelph Platers became the Owen Sound Platers . In addition, the Kingston Raiders were renamed Kingston Frontenacs , while the Windsor Compuware Spitfires returned to their original name Windsor Spitfires .
