The 2005/06 OHL season was the 26th season of the Ontario Hockey League . The regular season began on September 21, 2005 and ended on March 19, 2006. The play-offs started on March 23, 2006 and ended with the ninth J. Ross Robertson Cup win by the Peterborough Petes on May 11, 2006 who prevailed against the London Knights in the OHL final .
