The 2019/20 OHL season was the 40th season of the Ontario Hockey League . The regular season started on September 19, 2019 and should end on March 22, 2020. The playoffs for the J. Ross Robertson Cup were then planned, but game operations were interrupted on March 12, 2020 due to the corona virus pandemic . Finally, the Canadian Hockey League announced on March 23, 2020 that the seasons of OHL, LHJMQ and WHL would be canceled and the subsequent Memorial Cup would not take place.
