The 2017/18 OHL season was the 38th season of the Ontario Hockey League . The regular season began on September 21, 2017 and ended on 18 March 2018 by winning the Hamilton Spectator Trophy by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds . The playoffs for the J. Ross Robertson Cup were then played from March 22, 2018 to May 13, 2018 , in the final of which the Hamilton Bulldogs beat Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds prevailed.
