Red Tilson Trophy
The Red Tilson Trophy is an award from the Ontario Hockey League . It has been awarded annually to the most valuable player in the league since 1945 . The trophy winner has also participated in the election for CHL Player of the Year since 1975 .
The trophy is named after Red Tilson , who played for the Oshawa Generals and died in World War II .
