Career
Glenn Hall was the inventor of the "Butterfly Style". He began his career in the NHL at the age of 24 with the Detroit Red Wings and was honored with the Calder Memorial Trophy for his great first season . Before the games and in the third breaks, Hall always had nervous problems and usually vomited several times. A teammate once said that you should put your bucket in the Hall of Fame. After he had joined Ted Lindsay when he wanted to form a players union, the two were sold together to Chicago. There he became a legend and led the Hawks to the Stanley Cup in 1961. At the end of his career, he moved to the St. Louis Blues in the Expansion Draft . There he won the Conn Smythe Trophy at the age of 37 .
In 1975 he was honored with the induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame .
