history

The rule of Carency was given in the 14th century to a younger line of the House of Bourbon , who soon named themselves after her "Prince de Carency", princes of Carency .

Personalities

François Faber (1887–1915), winner of the 1909 Tour de France , was killed in the fighting for Carency on May 9, 1915 during the First World War .
