Courcelles-lès-Lens is a French municipality with 7774 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Lens and the canton of Hénin-Beaumont-2 (until 2015: canton of Leforest ). The inhabitants are called Courcellois .

The canalised Deûle , here part of the large shipping route Dunkirk-Scheldt , limits the community in the northeast.

Courcelles-lès-Lens is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Évin-Malmaison in the north, Leforest in the northeast, Auby in the east, Flers-en-Escrebieux in the southeast, Esquerchin in the south and Noyelles-Godault in the west.
