Comedy Central Extra is an offshoot of the US broadcaster Comedy Central . Until April 6, 2009 the station was still called Paramount Comedy 2. Initially, Paramount Comedy 2 was a timeshift version of Paramount Comedy 1. In 2007 the program was restructured and switched to classic English sitcoms. In addition, another offshoot will start on November 1, 2011 in the Netherlands.
Timeshift version
A timeshift version of Comedy Central Extra has existed since 2007, and Paramount Comedy 2 +1 until April 6, 2009. It sends the program offset by an hour.
