German Touring Car Championship 1986

The Rover Vitesse driven by Kurt Thiim in the DTM.

The 1986 German Touring Car Championship was the DTM's third season . The first run took place on March 30, 1986 on the Belgian Circuit Zolder . The last run was on September 21st at the Nürburgring . A total of nine races were held in Germany and Belgium .

Overall winner was the Dane Kurt Thiim in the Rover Vitesse with 130 points.
