description

The national registration authority tested the vehicle with the number 40.245 and approved it on April 10, 1935. Delage only offered the model in 1935. The predecessor was the Delage Type DS . The successor was the Delage Type D.6.70 .

A six-cylinder engine powered the vehicles. It had a 79.25 mm bore and 90.5 mm stroke . This resulted in a displacement of 2678 cm³ and a classification of 15  Cheval fiscal . The Delage Type D.6.65 had an engine with the same cylinder dimensions but less power.

The chassis had a track width of 1440 mm at the front and 1500 mm at the rear . The wheelbase was 3340 mm.

Sedan , Pullman limousine and convertible are known bodies .

Numbers of units and surviving vehicles

Peter Jacobs from the Delage Register of Great Britain compiled an overview of production figures and the number of vehicles that still exist in October 2006. His information on the construction times differ in some cases from the information given by the book authors. For this model he confirms the construction time of 1935. Of around eleven vehicles produced, three still exist. Elsewhere it is said that only two vehicles were made.
