The Delage Type C was an early passenger car model from the French brand Delage .

description

A visitor to the Paris Motor Show in 1905 agreed with Louis Delâge to develop a taxi . The national registration authority examined the vehicle with the number 25 and granted the approval on January 19, 1906. Delage only offered the model in 1906.

A single-cylinder engine of De Dion-Bouton powered vehicles. It had a 90 mm bore and 110 mm stroke . That resulted in a displacement of 700 cm³ . The same engine was also in the Delage Type D used.

The chassis that Malicet & Blin supplied for the Delage Type A and Type B has been redesigned. The track width of 1165 mm and the wheelbase of 1850 mm were retained. A body that was suitable for use as a taxi was mounted on it. In any case, it offered more space than the previous Delage models.

Numbers of units and surviving vehicles

The original client did not accept any further vehicles. It is unclear whether more than one vehicle was created. No existing vehicle is known.
