The Delage Type D.6.11 was a car model from the French brand Delage . There are also the spellings Delage Type D6.11 and Delage Type D6 11 . The 11 stood for the tax classification with 11  Cheval fiscal . For similarly named models see Delage Type D.6 .

description

On September 8, 1932, the vehicle with the number 32.818 was registered by the national authority. Delage offered the model from 1933 to 1935. There was no direct predecessor. The successor was the Delage Type DI-12 .

A six-cylinder engine of the type M 13 powered vehicles. It had a 75 mm bore and 75.5 mm stroke . That resulted in 2001 cc displacement . The engine developed 60  hp . There were in addition to the normal version of the variants L and S . The latter had an M 14 engine . No other differences are known.

The chassis had a track width of 1480 mm at the front and 1440 mm at the rear . The wheelbase was 3060 mm. The vehicles were 1720 mm wide. The empty weight was between 1360 kg and 1480 kg, depending on the structure. It was the first Delage model with independent front suspension .

Bodies as two- and four-door sedans , coupé , convertible , roadster , Pullman sedan and Brougham are known.

Numbers of units and surviving vehicles

Peter Jacobs from the Delage Register of Great Britain compiled an overview of production figures and the number of vehicles that still exist in October 2006. His information on the construction times differ in some cases from the information given by the book authors. For this model he confirms the construction period from 1933 to 1935. Of around 1728 vehicles, 60 still exist and of around 473 Type D.6.11 S there are still 18.

Auctions

On February 6, 2015, Artcurial offered a coach in very poor condition from the Baillon Collection , expected 10,000 to 15,000 euros and auctioned the vehicle for 83,520 euros.

Artcurial also auctioned a well-preserved vehicle on October 9, 2016. It was originally a limousine that was later converted into a pick-up . In the 1990s, the vehicle was rebuilt as a roadster. The sale resulted in 23,104 euros.

On September 24, 2017, Aguttes offered a convertible from 1933 with a body by Letourneur et Marchand , expected 100,000 to 150,000 euros, but was unable to auction the vehicle.
