The Delage Type U was an early passenger car model from the French brand Delage . The manufacturer called it a voiturette .

description

The national registration authority tested the vehicle with the number 956 and engine number 25420 and granted approval on January 14, 1910. Delage offered the model from 1910 to 1911. Predecessor was the Delage Type F .

A single-cylinder engine of De Dion-Bouton powered vehicles. In the first series it had a 100 mm bore and 120 mm stroke . This resulted in a displacement of 942 cm³ . The engine was rated 5  Cheval fiscal and developed 8.5  HP . In the second and third series a different engine was used, which was also used in the De Dion-Bouton Type CP . It had 90 mm bore, 150 mm stroke, 954 cc displacement, 5 CV and 9 HP power.

The chassis had a track width of 1200 mm and a wheelbase of 2250 mm . Superstructures offered were a two-seat Phaeton and a four-seat double phaeton .

Numbers of units and surviving vehicles

It is not known whether vehicles still exist.
