The Delage Type D.8.105 was a car model from the French brand Delage . There are also the spellings Delage Type D-8 105 and Delage Type D8 105 . The 105 stood for the engine output of 105  hp .

description

The vehicle with the number 39940 was presented to the national registration authority. Approval was granted on November 17, 1934. Delage offered the model from 1934 to 1935. The predecessor was the Delage Type D.6 . Successor was Delage Type B D.6.80 . The designer was Léon Michelat.

An eight-cylinder engine powered the vehicles. It had a 79.25 mm bore and 90.5 mm stroke . This resulted in a displacement of 3571 cm³ . The engine was rated 20  Cheval fiscal . The cylinder dimensions corresponded to the Delage Type D.8.85 , which however had less engine power.

The chassis had a track width of 1400 mm at the front and 1350 mm at the rear . The wheelbase was 3340 mm.

Superstructures as sedan , coupé , convertible and Brougham have been handed down. The curb weight was 1600 kg.

Numbers of units and surviving vehicles

Peter Jacobs from the Delage Register of Great Britain compiled an overview of production figures and the number of vehicles that still exist in October 2006. His information on the construction times differ in some cases from the information given by the book authors. For this model he confirms the construction period from 1934 to 1935. Of around 30 vehicles produced, two still exist.
