The Delage Type AK was an early passenger car model from the French brand Delage .
description
The national registration authority tested the vehicle with the number 3312 and engine number 302 and granted approval on November 14, 1912. Delage offered the model from 1913 to 1915. The predecessor was the Delage Type AH , the successor was the Delage Type BK .
The vehicles were powered by a self-made 6- cylinder type 6 K engine. It had a 66 mm bore and 130 mm stroke . That resulted in a displacement of 2669 cm³ . The engine was rated 14 Cheval fiscal and developed 27 hp
The chassis had a track width of 1280 mm in the normal version and 1380 mm in the long version. The wheelbase was 2950 mm for the short and 3360 mm for the long version. The only known body shape was a four-door sedan . A four-seat torpedo would also be typical for the time .
Numbers of units and surviving vehicles
Peter Jacobs from the Delage Register of Great Britain compiled an overview of production figures and the number of vehicles that still exist in October 2006. His information on the construction times differ in some cases from the information given by the book authors. Numbers of the models before the First World War are unknown. For this model he confirms the construction period from 1913 to 1915. Two vehicles still exist.

On September 3, 2004, Bonhams auctioned an open two-seater from 1914 with the British registration number LB 9502 for 68,803 euros .
