The Delage Type ZC was a racing car from the French brand Delage .

description

The national registration authority tested the vehicle with chassis number 1 and engine 1. The homologation took place on July 3, 1908. Delage only used the vehicle in 1908. The predecessor was the Delage Type FC . This was followed by a two-year break from racing.

A single cylinder engine propelled the vehicles. It was originally from De Dion-Bouton . Louis Delâge realized that the engine was not powerful enough and commissioned Némorin Causan with the revision. The engine still had a 100 mm bore and 160 mm stroke . This resulted in a displacement of 1257 cm³ . The engine was rated 15  Cheval fiscal and developed around 25  hp . The top speed was over 100 km / h.

The chassis had a track width of 1120 mm and a wheelbase of 2550 mm . The curb weight was 860 kg.

As far as is known, only one vehicle of this type was built.

Races

On July 6, 1908, a vehicle was used in the Coupe des Voiturettes 1908 in Dieppe . The Albert Guyot / Reyrol team won.
