The Delage Type FC was a racing car from the French brand Delage .
description
The model was an evolution of the sports version of the Delage Type F . The national registration authority tested the vehicle with the chassis number 500 and the engine 22.903 and granted the approval on June 19, 1908. Delage only used the vehicle in 1908. The successor was the Delage Type ZC .
A single-cylinder engine of De Dion-Bouton powered vehicles. It had a 100 mm bore and 160 mm stroke . This resulted in a displacement of 1257 cm³ . The engine was rated 15 Cheval fiscal and developed 24 to 25 hp .
The chassis had a track width of 1120 mm and a wheelbase of 2550 mm . The curb weight was given as 880 kg. The maximum speed was about 90 km / h.
A total of four vehicles were built.
Races
On July 6, 1908, some vehicles were used in the Coupe des Voiturettes de l'Auto in Dieppe . The team René Thomas / Houlet was fifth, Lucas / Louis Chenard twelfth. The winner was the Albert Guyot / Reyrol team on a Delage Type ZC .
