CD recordings
The first recording of an opera production of the Donaufestwochen, Telemann's Orpheus or the wonderful permanence of love was made in the summer of 2010. As part of the festival concert for the 15th anniversary of the L'Orfeo Baroque Orchestra in the Waldhausen collegiate church, the recording was made in 2011 under the direction of Michi Gaigg Schubert's concert overtures and the symphony No. 5 . The opera production 2011, Sebastián Durón's opera La Guerra de los Gigantes with the Ensemble A Corte Musical under the direction of Rogério Goncalves, and 2012, Mozart's Betulia liberata with the L'Orfeo Barockorchester have also been released on CD.
Child and youth work
The opera workshop for children, which has existed for several years, aims to inspire them for the language of music. A stage workshop in cooperation with the polytechnic course at HIT Grein serves to involve young people. The Strudengau Singing School, established by the Kulturforum Donauland-Strudengau in 2008, gives children and young people the opportunity to complete basic vocal training (voice training, rhythm, choral singing) all year round. The free entry for young people up to 15 years of age at the events of the Donaufestwochen allows young people to let their curiosity run free and encourages families to experience music together.
