The European football team is a selection of European (or partly also active in Europe) football players who represent the continent of Europe in representative games.

Organization and staging of the games

The European soccer team competes in charity and anniversary games and has already raised millions for charitable causes. There were also farewell games for well-known, deserving football players such as Stanley Matthews . The games are irregular. The team is put together by the team's volunteer trainer. The players agree to participate in the team for free. They only train together for a short time. The stadium is used free of charge, so all income from the game is available for charity. The games were recently broadcast live on television.
