European Champion Clubs' Cup (handball) 1983/84

The 1983/84 European Cup was the 24th edition of the competition, in which 25 handball club teams from 24 countries took part. They qualified for the European Cup in their home countries in the previous season . In the final, Dukla Prag from Czechoslovakia prevailed against the Yugoslav representative of Metaloplastika Šabac and won the cup for the second time since 1963 . Teams from Romania , the Soviet Union and the GDR did not take part in the competition with a view to the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles .

IK Heim , Metaloplastika Šabac , Honvéd Budapest , KS Anilana Łódź, Atlético Madrid , Dukla Prague and defending champion VfL Gummersbach had a bye and moved directly into the round of 16.
