Heilshoop is a municipality in the far north of the Stormarn district in Schleswig-Holstein . Neumühlen, Hauberg and Schweinweide are in the municipality.

history

Heilshoop was first in 1189 as Haleshope mentioned in documents than the Cistercian - Kloster Reinfeld belonged. However, it was probably founded earlier by Slavs in the Boule district . After the annexation of Schleswig-Holstein by Prussia in 1867, Heilshoop was incorporated into the newly formed Stormarn district. With the introduction of the Prussian municipal constitution in 1889, the Zarpen district came into being , which in 1948 became the Zarpen district . Since the local government reform in 1972 it has belonged to the Nordstormarn office .

Culture and sights

There is a swimming opportunity on the east bank of the moor pond. It does not have a bathing supervision and is not subject to the standards and requirements of the EU and the state of Schleswig-Holstein for bathing areas. The water quality of the bathing facility is regularly checked by the health authorities.
