I league (chess) 1975
The I league (chess) 1975 was the sixth staging of the I league and the 31st Polish team championship in chess . The team from KS Maraton Warszawa became the Polish team champion for the third time in a row. KS Kolejarz Katowice and KKS Polonia Warszawa were promoted from the II league. Both newly promoted players achieved relegation, relegated next to the team from KS Hutnik Nowa Huta, which did not start, the MZKS Pocztowiec Poznań.

mode
The eleven teams played a simple round-robin tournament on six boards, with a woman standing on the sixth board. The last two were relegated to the II league (the team from KS Hutnik Nowa Huta who had not appeared was the first relegated team) and were replaced by the winners of the two seasons of the II league. The total of the additional points from the Polish youth team championship (25% of the points achieved there, rounded to half points; in case of doubt rounded to whole numbers) and the number of board points (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point for a loss), then the number of board points and then the number of team points (two points for a win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat).

The tournament was played in Augustów from November 20th to 30th .
