Polish team championship in chess 1934

The Polish team championship in chess in 1934 was the second staging of this competition. In addition to the city selections from Warszawa , Łódź , Kraków , Lwów and Poznań and the team from województwo śląskie , which had already participated in the first Polish team championship in 1929 , the city selection from Wilno and the team from województwo pomorskie were at the start. As in the first edition, the Warsaw team became Polish team champions.

mode

The eight participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament , played on six boards. The number of points on the board decided on the placement (one point for a win, half a point for a draw, no point for a defeat).

Dates and venue

The tournament was held from May 10th to 14th at the Savoy Hotel in Katowice .
