The canton Rezé-1 ( Breton canton Reudied-1 ) is a French canton in the arrondissement of Nantes , in the department of Loire-Atlantique and in the region of Pays de la Loire ; its main town is Rezé .
history
The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. The residents used to belong to the cantons of Bouaye (4 municipalities) and Rezé (Bouguenais and parts of the city of Rezé).

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the six voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Myriam Bigeard / Freddy Hervochon (both PS) won against Erwan Gouiffes / Françoise Rabbe (both Union de la Droite) with a share of the vote of 59.56% (turnout: 48.19%).
