The Canton Carquefou (Breton Canton Kerc'hfaou ) is a French canton in the Arrondissement of Nantes , in the Loire-Atlantique and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town is Carquefou .

The canton was established in 1790. It belongs to a minority of the cantons that remained unchanged in 2015 with the reorganization of the cantons in France.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the four voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the team Véronique Dubbettier-Grenier / Serge Mounier (both Union de la Droite) won against Bernard Chesneau / Elsa Régent-Pennuen (both PS) with a share of the vote of 58.5% (turnout: 50, 83%).
