The canton of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges-2 is a French canton in the Arrondissement of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges , in the Département Vosges and in the Grand Est region (previously Lorraine ); its main town is Saint-Dié-des-Vosges .
history
The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its communes come from the former cantons of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges-Est (all 15 communes), Provenchères-sur-Fave (all 7 communes), Fraize (4 of the 9 municipalities) and eastern districts of the city of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges.

politics
In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the four voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the team Roland Bédel / Caroline Privat (both DVD) won against Nathalie Tomasi / Sébastien Tomaso (both FN ) with a share of the vote of 66.06% (turnout: 52.86%).
