Lake Mary Jane borders the lake of the same name in the west and is located around 10 km southeast of Orlando .

According to the 2010 census, the 1575 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 545 households. The population density was 115.8 inh / km². 93.0% of the population identified themselves as whites, 2.3% as African American , 0.6% as Indians and 1.5% as Asian Americans . 0.7% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.8% to several ethnic groups. 10.7% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .
