Union Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Orange County in the US state of Florida with 9,765 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Union Park is about 6 miles east of Orlando . Florida State Roads 50 and 408 ( East-West Expressway , toll road) cross or touch the CDP .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 9,765 inhabitants were distributed over 4,000 households. The population density was 1268.2 inh / km². 73.9% of the population identified themselves as whites, 8.5% as African-Americans , 0.7% as Indians and 4.0% as Asian Americans . 9.0% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.9% to several ethnic groups. 41.0% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 22.2% of all households lived in 33.2% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 65.9% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.80 people and the average family size was 3.23 people.

25.0% of the population were younger than 20 years, 41.2% were 20 to 39 years old, 25.4% were 40 to 59 years old, and 15.4% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 32 years. 50.2% of the population were male and 49.8% were female.
