Conway is a census-designated place (CDP) in Orange County in the US state of Florida with 13,467 residents (as of 2010).

Conway is directly adjacent to the cities of Belle Isle and Orlando . The CDP is crossed by Florida State Road 15 .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 13,467 inhabitants were distributed over 5,797 households. The population density was 1513.1 inh / km². 88.6% of the population identified themselves as white, 3.7% as African-American , 0.3% as Native American and 2.2% as Asian Americans . 2.9% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.3% to several ethnic groups. 16.5% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010, children under the age of 18 lived in 33.9% of all households and persons aged 65 or over lived in 26.0% of all households. 74.1% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.67 people and the average family size was 3.05 people.

24.8% of the population were younger than 20 years, 22.7% were 20 to 39 years old, 34.0% were 40 to 59 years old, and 18.5% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 42 years. 49.8% of the population were male and 50.2% were female.

The median annual income was $ 63,448, with 8.8% of the population living below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the first language of 85.62% of the population, 11.83% spoke Spanish and 2.55% spoke another language.
