Christmas is a census-designated place (CDP) in Orange County in the US state of Florida with a population of 1146 (as of 2010).

Christmas is about 30 km east of Orlando . The CDP is crossed by 50 Florida State Road .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 1146 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 819 households. The population density was 128.8 inh / km². 95.7% of the population identified themselves as whites , 1.0% as African-Americans , 0.3% as Indians, and 0.3% as Asian Americans . 1.1% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.5% to several ethnic groups. 5.8% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 34.8% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 25.4% of all households. 72.0% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.72 people and the average family size was 2.99 people.

25.6% of the population were younger than 20 years, 22.6% were 20 to 39 years old, 33.6% were 40 to 59 years old, and 18.2% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 41 years. 53.1% of the population were male and 46.9% were female.
